Motor - 2 H.P. single phase (three phase optional at additional cost) 50/60 Hz (Specify) (single-phase - specify 115 or 230 volt, three phase - specify 230 or 460 volt), with variable speed drive (speeds selectable 22 through 58 R.P.M.).Switch - Heavy duty, reversing. Safety foot switch also included. Operator must have foot on this switch for machine to operate.
Carriage - Slide Type with Feed Lever.
Die Head - ONE, OSTER QUAD II QUICK-OPENING type - capacity 1/8" thru 2" pipe.
Dies - TWO sets High Speed Steel Pipe Dies (Symbol Quad) Right-Hand, 1 set(1/2" and 3/4"), 1 set (1" thru 2").
Reamer - Detachable, Blade type
Cutter - Roller type, self centering. (Blade type available at extra cost - 582 only).
Front Chuck - Fast, Positive. Grips in both right and left hand direction. Equipped with replaceable jaw inserts.
Rear Centering Chuck - Rotating Type - Scroll actuates 3 guides simultaneously.
Gage - Graduated for 1/8" thru 2". Also for running threads in 1/8" increments.
Oil Pump - Reversible, vane type with relief valve.
Oil - Thread cutting, FIVE gallons - Oster "BESTOIL".

Revolving Die head
The Best portable 2" threading machine with a revolving die head on the market. Excels when threading precut or preformed stock.
Semi-Automatic Revolving Die Head
Open construction of head permits chips to fall away as thread is being cut. The yoke actuated by the movement of the vise carriage automatically controls the opening and resetting of the die-head. Head is fully adjustable for over and undersize thread.
