Pipe Masters Have had years of service on the toughest proving ground - job and maintenance shops. They have consistently turned out good threads while standing up under the most rigorous conditions. Flat machine ways mounted on a solidly built fabricated steel base are two reasons for the Pipe Master's durability.

Standard Equipment

Motor - SINGLE PHASE Universal, Reversible, variable speed - specify either 120 or 240 volt. AC, 1 phase 50-60 Hz. Rated 1/2HP, develops up to 2HP
Spindle Speeds(No Load) - Standard 38 R.P.M., optional 60 R.P.M.
Switch - Heavy duty, reversing. Safety foot switch also included. Operator must have foot on this switch for machine to operate.
Die-Head - ONE, QUAD II QUICK-OPENING type - capacity 1/8" thru 2" pipe.
Dies - TWO sets, High Speed Steel Pipe Dies (Symbol Quad) Right-Hand, 1 set (1/2" and 3/4"), 1 set (1" thru 2").
Reamer- Detachable, Blade type.
Cutter - Roller type, self centering. (Blade type available with 655).
Front Chuck - Fast, Positive! Grips in both right and left hand direction. Equipped with replaceable jaw inserts..
Rear Centering Chuck - Rotating Type - Scroll actuates 3 guides simultaneously.
Oil Pump - Reversible, gear driven vane type with relief valve.
Oil - Thread cutting, TWO gallons - Oster "BESTOIL".

655 With Slide-In Tools

Features

Roll-Over Headstock! Exclusive "Roll-Over" headstock, standard on all Pipe Master machines, allows fast, easy access to the motor compartment. Removing a single pin allows the complete headstock to be pivoted up and back out of the way to expose motor, brushes and switch box for easy maintenance.
